As CEO of Golf Etc. of America, Inc., Shane focuses on franchise growth, marketing and brand management. Mr. Hunt began his career at Motorola Communications after receiving his undergraduate degree. He later joined Johnson & Johnson Inc., working in professional sales and marketing, then was recruited to join Boehringer Mannheim Inc. Shane later joined Jackson & Coker as a healthcare recruiting consultant and went on to start and run several other national companies. He is an alumnus of the Harvard School of Business.

Augie joined Golf Etc. in March 2000 as Co-CEO. He focuses on franchise relationships, pro-line suppliers, new products and strategic planning. He and his wife, Lee, also own and operate a franchise in Southlake, Texas (part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex). Prior to becoming involved with Golf Etc., Augie spent 24+ years with Motorola, including a two year overseas assignment in Singapore, where he was part of a leadership team which grew their unit into a $1.5B+ profitable business. Augie attended the University of Illinois as a chemical engineering student and graduated from Elmhurst College with a business degree (and a minor in Chemistry) in 1971. He was also on his college golf team.

Phillip came aboard Golf Etc. in August, 2000 as Controller. Before joining the Golf Etc. team, he spent four years as the Vice President/Controller at the Pecan Valley Nut Company. Prior to that, he served as Controller at a Southwestern Bell Wireless Authorized Retailer. Phillip graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting from Tarleton State University.

With twenty-four years experience as a Class A member of the PGA, Don brings extensive knowledge of golf products and business practices to his role as Vice President and Business Developer at Golf Etc. Don spent a total of 16 years as the head golf professional at Bentwood Country Club in San Angelo, Texas and The Club at Falcon Point in Katy, Texas. His love of golf and his expertise in teaching and fitting led him to a position with Slazenger Golf, where he served as South Central Territory manager in the club division. For three years, Don conducted schools for Slazenger, teaching golf professionals how to teach and custom-fit putters and clubs with the highest personal service. His vast knowledge and experience in the golf business make him a tremendous asset to the company.

As a registered PGA Professional with 10+ years of coaching and training experience, Jeremy serves Golf Etc. by leading and developing new franchises. Jeremy began his career serving as Director of Golf / Head Golf Coach and Director of Athletic Recruitment at Tabar College in Central Kansas. His time there lead to championships and Coach of the Year honors. He has also served as a Teaching Professional / Touring Professional with Golf TEC learning centers. Prior to teaching and playing mini-tours, he served as a Golf Professional at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Jeremy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management /Marketing from Tabor College.

Mike brings extensive management and retail experience to his role as project manager at Golf Etc., where he leads and develops new franchises. Mike has owned and operated a fast food restaurant, a hotel and a Golf Etc. in California. His first-hand knowledge and experience of opening, owning and operating a Golf Etc. is invaluable to each franchisee he works with. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics and an MBA from Memphis State University.
